When a vehicle is available for online purchase, Cart Mart makes it possible to complete the essential steps digitally. From purchase to payment, to documents and delivery.

Overview

Overview

An online order lets you complete the entire vehicle purchase digitally through Cart Mart Checkout. Once you enter checkout for an online-enabled vehicle, you can complete the full transaction remotely and your order begins processing immediately.

02

How it works

Complete the transaction digitally

When you enter Cart Mart checkout for an online-enabled vehicle, you complete every step of the transaction digitally—from payment and documentation through delivery or pickup arrangements.

Fully digital purchase

  • Complete payment entirely online
  • Submit required documentation digitally
  • Sign documents electronically
  • Arrange delivery or pickup remotely

No in-person visit is required to complete an eligible online purchase.

Online-enabled vehicles

  • Online orders are available only for vehicles enabled for online purchase
  • If a vehicle requires an in-person transaction, checkout cannot be completed online

Ask Cart Mart about the next available purchase path when a vehicle is not online-enabled.

Immediate processing

  • Your purchase is processed immediately, or your financing application is submitted
  • The vehicle is assigned to your order
  • You proceed through the digital fulfillment steps
  • The process continues without an in-person visit

Buyer verification

Verify your identity

Confirm your identity with a government-issued ID and a selfie when prompted during checkout. Identity verification is used for seller compliance, fraud prevention, insurance validation, optional protection products, titling and registration.

Why verification is required

  • Helps ensure you are the actual buyer
  • Supports seller compliance and fraud prevention
  • Requires your information to match your government-issued ID
  • Is used across multiple steps of the purchase

Acceptable ID documents

If financing: a current, unexpired driver’s license is required. Depending on the registration state, it may need to be issued by that state.

If paying in full: a current, unexpired driver’s license is required.

State requirements: some states require a driver’s license or ID from the registration state. Accepted ID types depend on that state’s requirements.

Help and answers

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Can I complete the entire purchase without visiting in person?

Yes. Eligible online orders are designed for a fully remote purchase: documentation is handled digitally, signatures are electronic, payment is processed remotely, and delivery can be arranged to your location or pickup can be scheduled when convenient. You do not need to visit in person to complete an eligible online order.

Why can’t I complete checkout for some vehicles?

Some vehicles require an in-person purchase and are not available for online checkout. The vehicle may not be enabled for online purchase or may require an in-person transaction under the applicable seller policy. Contact Cart Mart for available in-person purchase options.

What if I’m not ready to complete my purchase right now?

If you are not ready to complete the full purchase immediately, a reservation with a deposit may be available to hold the vehicle. Contact Cart Mart to ask whether a reservation or pre-order option applies to the vehicle you are considering.

Can I save my progress and come back to checkout later?

Checkout progress is typically saved temporarily. To secure the vehicle, you will need to complete the purchase.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Identity verification helps confirm that you are the actual buyer and is used for seller compliance, insurance validation, optional protection plans, titling and registration. It helps prevent fraud and keeps records accurate throughout the purchase.

What if my ID is expired?

You need a current, valid ID to complete an online order. Renew the ID before starting checkout to avoid delays.

What if I fail identity verification?

You have three attempts to complete verification. Common issues include poor lighting, blurry photos or expired IDs. If verification remains unsuccessful after three attempts, contact Cart Mart for manual verification.

Can I use an out-of-state driver’s license?

Only certain states accept out-of-state licenses. If your registration state allows one, additional documentation may be required later for registration—for example, for military service, student status or a recent move.

What is Cart Mart’s refund policy?

Cart Mart issues a full refund when a buyer cancels before signing the Purchase Agreement, or before the financing-contract stage for a financed buyer. Once a Purchase Agreement or financing contract is signed, refunds are not available except in extenuating circumstances.
