Storage is more than parking

Prepare the vehicle for the time it will sit.

A proper storage plan considers battery chemistry, charging, tire condition, cleanliness, accessories, keys, alarms, covers, pickup access, and the expected return date. Program availability, services, pricing, pickup area, and facility details must be confirmed with Cart Mart before relying on storage.

✓

Before pickup

Document the vehicle, accessories, condition, keys, charger, special controls, and any service concerns.

✓

Storage preparation

Confirm the correct storage mode for flooded lead-acid, AGM, or lithium power and follow the vehicle and battery manufacturer’s instructions.

✓

While stored

Discuss monitoring, charging, inspection, insurance responsibility, access, and notification procedures for the specific program.

✓

Before return

Schedule enough lead time for inspection, service, detailing, charging, and delivery options when available.

✓

Location & capacity

Storage is capacity- and location-dependent. Never assume a facility, pickup area, climate control, or service package without written confirmation.

✓

Customer responsibilities

Remove valuables, disclose modifications, provide correct charging equipment, and review the current agreement, exclusions, and payment terms.
